The US Department of Environmental Protection says that any substance used to prevent and destroy as well as to repel or control pests is called a pesticide.
If we want to go back in time and tell the history of pesticides, we can say that pesticides 2,000 years ago, humans used pesticides to protect their products, which at that time was the first sulfur pesticide that the ancient Sumerians in Mesopotamia. They used it. It is written in a religious book called Riguda, which is about 4,000 years old, that at that time poisonous plants were used to kill pests. In the 15th century, new antioxidants were discovered, such as arsenic, mercury, and lead. In the 17th century, plants such as tobacco, sulfate, nicotine were extracted and used as insecticides or pesticides.
18th century Iranians and Caucasians (Georgians) used chrysanthemums for insecticides. In the 20th century, the United States used Bordeaux as an insect repellent.

Pesticide side effects:
Many pesticides used to kill insects are harmful to human health and survival. You should note that their presence in lakes and rivers pollutes water and water resources.
